We source from linguists that meet these minimum requirements in all but exceptional cases. Exceptions must be approved by manager.

MOST WANTED CANDIDATES MEET BOTH EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA
B: Candidates that meet the criteria are contacted and sent the intro package + invited to test.
C: If they’re interested we align expectations with regards to rates and necessary behavior and send an engagement test.
Before approving for further onboarding, check freelancer profiles for the following
Area of expertise:
Freelancers has to have no more than 3 overall areas (overall - e.g. Economics and Finance count as one etc. Related areas also can count as one e.g. Games and Leisure/sports/Tourism.)Target language:
If a freelancer doesn’t live up to the requirements, contact them and ask them to specify which area they want to focus on.
Target Language:
Freelancers can have 1 target language (locale variations that are close count as one, e.g. US, UK English. NB locale variants that are NOT close count as 2, e.g. Flemish and Dutch)
Freelancers that are truly bilingual can have 2 target languages, but this needs to be checked/verified. Unless there is a specific argument for more than 1 target, we remove all options apart from their native language without consulting the freelancer.
